The record says ✓ paper cross-checked — the certificate matches the lab's database. We have not seen the stone, and we say so.
What ✓ paper cross-checked means
A Registry record confirms the certificate is real and matches the issuing lab's own records. It does not confirm the paper belongs to this physical stone — that is a hands-on check (✓✓), a step up from the free Registry. We never blur the line between the two.

Check before you pay.
Ask the seller for the Registry link, or verify the certificate number yourself. When you want protection on the deal itself — an escrow that holds your money until you confirm — that runs through the sale-desk.
